What prompted this app was a simple question at the drive thru window of a popular fast food restaurant. In an effort to try and eat healthier, I asked, while pondering what to order, what do you have that’s somewhat healthy? The answer that came through the speaker was “umm nothing”. No mention of a maybe a wrap or a grilled chicken this or that, a salad maybe, just “nothing”. While the employee was probably being absolutely truthful, as a business owner, how would you rate that answer from one of your employees at your restaurant. I really don’t think corporate would condone that answer. No, I didn’t report it, too lazy. But I did do something; you’re looking at it now, please read on….Are you sick and tired of receiving poor customer service and being mistreated by poorly trained and unprofessional employees? Well, let’s see if we can help them! You see, many people are thrust into positions that are not well trained or even suited for and it’s really not their fault. At the end of the day, it’s management’s!We all know that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. So if you don’t say anything, the behavior will simply continue. Do you know why they mistreat you? Because they really don’t think you have the patience or the courage to file a complaint. That’s too lazy or too scared? Believe or not, some of them actually think that you are too stu….. “not smart enough” to even comprehend the process. How many times have you responded to the survey on the receipt? How many times have you vowed that you are going to file a complaint as soon as you get home? We both know that you’re not. Who has that kind of time to waste, right? Well, we are about to make your life easier. Now, when you feel that you have been mistreated as a customer, simply push a button and report the incident to corporate immediately, even while you are still in the store. Guess what, when enough people have complained about the same person or the same behavior, heads will start to roll due to liability. The app provides you with the ease of convenience to take back control of the way you are being treated at the store level. Stores like to say that they want you to have a WOW experience, however let’s see if they really mean it.Let’s face it, some people are just not cut out for customer service work. They may excel at other tasks not related to face-to-face interaction with customers (i.e. stockroom, inventory, data entry etc.) A different position might be a better fit for their personality and allow them to keep their current employment. No one wants to get anyone fired, especially in this job market, but it’s about forcing management to take their heads out of the sand and deal with the employee obviously screaming for help. If the employee can’t handle customer interaction in a positive way, they need to be reassigned to allow them time to develop and become successful.
